Parent support is critical to keeping ABC running smoothly and keeping tuition costs down. Every year, parent volunteers give their time, energy, and expertise to help with program operations, fundraising, and social activities.
Parent volunteers in key leadership positions represent each choir on the Parent Advisory Council. The PAC meets quarterly on Tuesday evenings to share information across choirs, provide input and guidance to ABC staff and the Board of Directors, and discuss key issues for the program.
Parent Advisory Council members are selected annually at the Hummingbird Collaboration Summit in October, based on Parent Volunteer Interest Forms that are distributed at the beginning of each season.
